»The Robert bosch stiftung picks up on social issues at an early stage in five areas of support and works in five different regions across the globe, namely north america, europe, Middle east/north africa, and asia.
While the alumni of the respective programs stay connected, there was no joint structure for all different alumni throughout the foundation and its different programs. To bridge this gap, the bosch alumni network seeks to bring together former and current fellows, grantees and staff members of the Robert bosch stiftung and its partners, by connecting network members with common interests but different backgrounds, cross-sectoral exchange and international collaborations are fostered. The platform boschalumni.net connects the community online.
The bosch alumni network is clustered thematically and regionally. In thematic clusters such as media, governance, or education network members find like-minded partners to discuss their ideas or challenges and to organize projects with others.«
Kollektiv Raumstation hosted the kick-off of the new cluster for spatial affairs: Sustainable Living Spaces. We invited 34 Bosch Alumni Network members to a city exploration in Vienna, bringing together the members and opening up space for new thought. After 3 ½ days learning journey we decided together continuing on the following impact fields: sustainable housing, revitalisation of spaces and rural renaissance.
Thanks again to all participants and partners for the sucessfull kick-off! Die Labile Botschaft, Nordbahnhalle, OPENmarx, Gebietsbetreuung Stadterneuerung, Soho in Ottakring, Gabu Heindl, ALMDIY, Bosch Alumni Network, Actors of Urban Change, Stadtmacher 城市创者, Neulandgewinner.
